Gather & Gown
Our Role
Gather & Gown is a bridal website that has a vast array of options for bridal party gowns.
Utilized Expertise
- Develop an online store built upon Spree
- Build custom content and community solution
- Customize integration with Email service provider, fulfillment center, and payment gateway.
Challenge
Provide engineering support to launch site’s pioneering “Loop” feature which is a brand new take on how people shop online. The Loop is an innovative social integrated E-Commerce function that allows the bridesmaids to come together online to browse, find, and share the perfect dress. The site needed to be launched in an 8-week timeline.
Solution
Spree’s storefront was customized for the e-commerce portion of the site and a customized content and community solution was built for the new social shopping tool, The Loop. Customized integrations were also implemented with an Email service provider, a fulfillment center, and a payment gateway. The site was launched within the 8 week schedule and has been well received by the bridal community.
